How do FTL and LTL differ?

FTL plans a dedicated truckload; LTL combines a smaller load with other freight. The loading footprint, handling requirements, destinations and schedule determine the suitable arrangement.

From the US port or airport to the receiving site

After the agreed port or airport release, confirm the onward collection and receiving arrangements. For sea FCL, discuss delivery of the full container or agreed unloading followed by pallet distribution. For LCL or air cargo, confirm the released carton, pallet or crate units for onward road transport. Confirm release references, equipment, appointments and who reports the receiving quantities.
